Dr Luke Daines and Dr Louise Fleming, both from the Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research, are showcased in recent videos from Asthma UK.
Dr Luke Daines
Making an asthma diagnosis is tricky – there is no single test that can accurately diagnose it. Together with Professor Hilary Pinnock, Luke is developing a system which will support GPs and nurses to make accurate asthma diagnoses, based on notes in patient Electronic Health Records.
Dr Louise Fleming
Louise was awarded an Asthma UK Research Fellowship, and is examining whether new digital technologies can be used to help children take their asthma medications correctly and regularly.
