New AUKCAR Travel Fellowships for AUKCAR PhD students
AUKCAR is now welcoming applications to a competitive call for £300 bursaries to attend a conference in 2018.The bursaries can go towards travel, accommodation and/or registration fees. The call is open for any conference (up until end of 2018). All AUKCAR PhD students (including students who have submitted and had their viva but not yet graduated by the time of the conference) are eligible to apply.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The points the AUKCAR panel will be looking at in order of importance are:
- Having an abstract accepted (you may submit the bursary application prior to acceptance but the condition of the award will be that the abstract is accepted)
- A strong case for support for the specific conference.
- Final year PhD student
- Unable to get other source of support
- Not received a previous AUKCAR award (or at least not within the last year)
APPLICATION PROCESS
The application should include:

Name of student

Year of study

Type of presentation (or anticipated presentation) and the conference details

Short paragraph (max 250 words) on why it would be beneficial to attend the conference and what you aim to get out of it
